Uncertain Edges
with Ground Collective

Uncertain Edges, an exhibition by Ground Collective, was a response to changing boundaries both physical and metaphorical. It appropriately took place in Electro Studios, a gallery space carved out of the old Hastings / St Leonard's on Sea landmark, on the edge of the East Sussex coast. The artists in Ground Collective took the gallery's location as its starting point to examine the blurred and wobbly lines that attempt to demarcate one space from another. The Collective's interest lies in finding objects and making observations from everyday landscapes traveled through, reconfiguring these discoveries into artworks, performances, poems and installations. They celebrate a slowing down and a closer scrutiny of things that are overlooked or forgotten.

Marcia Teusink's work for the show included two video projects: 'Submersible' and 'Uncertain Edges'.
