biography

Marcia Teusink is a London-based artist whose work addresses issues of beauty, impermanence and the everyday. She works in a variety of media including painting, drawing, photography, and found objects. Marcia completed her MFA in Visual Arts at the City University of New York (Queens College) and received her BA from the University of California at Berkeley in English Literature. She has studied art and art history and theory in Italy, under the guidance of South African artist-team Rosenclaire. She is currently supplementing her knowledge of museum theory by undertaking coursework in Museums and Galleries in Education at the Institute of Education in London.
